姜偉,中國(guó)科學(xué)院長(zhǎng)春應(yīng)用化學(xué)研究所研究員,博士生導(dǎo)師,主要從事高性能高分子材料的制備、高分子結(jié)構(gòu)與性能關(guān)系研究。作為項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人先后承擔(dān)了國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金12項(xiàng)(包括重點(diǎn)、重點(diǎn)群、重大子課題、杰青、國(guó)際合作和面上)、國(guó)家十三五重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng)。2007年獲得國(guó)家自然科學(xué)杰出青年基金。

Tetrahedral colloidal clusters assembled from amphiphilic nanoparticles in deformable emulsion droplets for the first time. The nanoparticles were grafted with two polymers, i.e., hydrophobic polystyrene (PS) and hydrophilic poly (2-vinyl pyridine) (P2VP). It is found that icosahedral, anti-icosahedral, spherical, and tetrahedral colloidal clusters can be obtained by tuning the molar ratio of PS to P2VP tethered on the particle and the amount of small molecule surfactant. At a lower ratio of P2VP to PS, the particles gradually assemble into spherical, anti-icosahedral, and icosahedral clusters by increasing the surfactant amount rather than by increasing the number of particles, as reported. However, the particles assemble into tetrahedral colloidal clusters with a perfect face-centered cubic (FCC) lattice structure at a higher ratio of P2VP to PS. It is revealed that the droplet interface energy and its variation with time determine which polyhedral colloidal cluster can be assembled.
